Cala d'Hort
Es Vedra seen from Cala d'Hort in Ibiza

One of the nicest Ibiza beaches we have been to. Not very big – it has a breathtaking view of the giant rock of Es Vedra. It is only a mile or two off the shore, even though it looks much nearer. The first time we went there I was totally blown away.

Cala d’Hort is quite hidden sandy cove – literally two miles South of Cala Vadella. Even though the beach itself is not the biggest (but quite long) it is very popular and crowded throughout the season. Water warm and rather shallow - there are few rocky spots on the shore, but long strip of sandy access as well. Strip is separated in two by a natural rock pier. The cove is encircled by cliffs and can be a little hot between 11 and 5 pm as there is not much shade.

There is an excellent restaurant, that apart from stunning view offers a variety of fresh seafood and local dishes – if you are not only fan of chips (they serve chips of course, but definitely not the best) It is quite expensive though, maybe except drinks, and they don’t mind putting your cocktails on the tap throughout the day, so you could ruin yourself with one single payment in the evening.

They have some sunbeds there, and as far as I can remember there were couple of pedaloes for rent.
